Photo storage and download rules — service pending
Vault Max includes 20 GB total photo capacity. The optional $2.99/month add-on adds 20 GB for 40 GB total. Neither amount is added again each month. The add-on requires Vault Max; both together cost $12.98/month.
Planned storage meter: notices at 80%, 90% and 100%. At the limit, new uploads pause. Existing photos are not deleted just because storage is full. Download and remove photos to make room, or add the extra capacity.
Planned downloads: individual photos and Download All Photos, organized by customer, job and date. Downloads must identify whether each file is an original or a smaller saved copy. A thumbnail does not replace a full photo.
Account closure pending: when you request account deletion, the photo download period lasts 90 days. Notices are due when the period starts, 30 days before photo deletion, and 7 days before photo deletion. Keep a working contact email during this period. Download and check your copies before the deadline.
Photos are scheduled for deletion after the 90-day window. An immediate permanent-deletion option must also be available. The final closure screen must explain separately what happens to job records, invoices and payment records.
Not active yet: 20/40 GB storage, bulk photo downloads, storage warnings, closure notices and scheduled deletion. This beta does not start a deletion countdown or delete photos under this policy. Existing local photo limits remain in place. Subscription cancellation, downgrade and removal of the storage add-on need separate retention terms before launch.
Coming soon features are planned and are not available yet. GPS records can only be captured with your permission at the time of use; upgrading cannot add locations to past shifts.
Public plans keep the prices shown above. Founder Beta access is a separate tester entitlement and does not change public pricing. Phone permissions, GPS accuracy and photo capture still need testing on real devices.
The customer-portal link will be connected with the SamCart subscription setup.
Start here: your work, pay and backups
1. Add your jobs and hourly rates. Each job can use a different rate.
2. Pick a date. Enter start/end times, enter total hours, or use the time clock. You can also add appointments and notes.
3. When your paycheck arrives, compare its dates and numbers with your saved work.
Check the cloud status to confirm a save. Download a separate backup too. Original-file attachments must be downloaded separately.
This guide appears when you reopen the app. Closing it does not change your records.
Reminders while the app is open
Reminders appear only while this app is open or when you return to it. They do not send email or phone notifications. A running clock may also need your attention after 12 hours.

Travel is separate from work hours. Enter miles after your trip; distance is not measured automatically.
Tap Start Travel when you leave. Tap I’ve Arrived when you get there. Then tap Start Job when you are ready to work.
Your notes and GPS proof will be saved with this work period when you tap CLOCK OUT & SAVE JOB.

3. Extra Work Orders & Bonuses
Record extra work as a separate work entry with its own hours and rate. Use a bonus for extra money received without additional work time.
A bonus is extra money from your job. Tap the button above to enter it.
Check the selected day above. Pick your job below. Enter the bonus amount before taxes. Add a note if you want. The bottom save buttons save your bonus and daily note together.
Bonuses are saved apart from hours, wages and tips. TLV does not use bonuses to change your overtime pay.
4. Job & Pay Setup
Yes, you can add or change your jobs and default pay rates here. To change the rate on a saved work record, choose View / Edit beside that record.
You can track hours now and add your pay rate later.
Default rate changes apply to future entries. Previously saved work keeps its saved rate.

Save your daily note, any entered bonus, and an open record correction without starting another job. For job notes or finished-job photos, choose View / Edit or Photos / Add beside the saved record.

Choose a photo or use your phone's camera option. JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 12 MB. We save a smaller JPEG copy, not the original. Keep the original on your device. Check that important details are readable before attaching.
View Saved Photos
Up to 3 photos per work period, 120 KB per copy and 750 KB of photo copies in total (maximum 32 copies). Copies are included in your normal file and cloud backups when those saves succeed. The cloud status shows backup progress. No photos are included in basic shared reports or feedback. Added time is recorded; the date a photo was taken is not verified.

Keep full-quality JPEG, PNG and WebP photos, plus PDF pay stubs and documents. Up to 20 MB per file. Uploads preserve the chosen file, including any location metadata. Internet and activated file storage are required.
Originals stay in separate private cloud storage. Hours backups contain file links, not these file contents. Download originals separately. They are not included in shared reports. Export other document formats to PDF first.
Original-file storage requires activation. Your existing photo copies and hours remain available.
Older cloud versions
Choose a saved copy, compare its records, then restore. A safety download is required first. Copies include notes, tips, corrections, GPS and photo copies. History begins after activation; it cannot recover copies already overwritten.
Cloud history requires activation. Your latest cloud backup works separately.
Work Reports / Proof Vault
These details are excluded until you select them. Photos may show people or private information. Review the preview before exporting. Device records are not independently verified.
Preview before sharing. Change history can contain personal details even when the notes option is off. CSV contains work rows only. Print / Save as PDF or Download report includes the selected supporting records. The downloaded HTML report opens offline; anyone with the file can read it.
Private report sharing — read-only
Share a saved copy of the report using the current selections. Only you and the recipient's verified Time Log Vault account can open it. The recipient needs a Time Log Vault account using this email.
Review the report and recipient carefully. Revoking access cannot remove screenshots or copies already made. A private link is created only after the sharing service confirms it.
